Question : What are the requirements to start a property management company in KY?
Interested in starting a property management company in Louisville. Would like to know what certifications/licenses are required. Would mainly be working in the Apartment Complex sector. The company I currently work for seems to only have a CPM… See that some websites say need to have a brokers license so I am having trouble finding the way. Thanks

in order to manage property for other people you will have to have a brokers license for real estate. it is illegal to manage property you don’t own for a fee.
