They usually find anyway they possibly can to keep from paying a claim.
We had the home warranty from another company for 2 months, they are a joke…they claim to cover all these items, until something breaks and then that isn’t covered. We had this really odd smell in our house all the sudden when we turned the ac on, it was 2 months after we moved it. American home shield, sent 3 people out and each time they had a different “solution” one was to replace all of my water pipes underground for 3,000… each time I had to pay them 68 dollars…my neighbor came over and said it was a dried pee trap, he poured a glass of water down it and we haven’t had any problems since then and that was 5 month agos. When I turned in the 3,000 estimate to ASH they said oh we don’t cover that type of pipe. WTF. Anyway I didn’t need the 3,000 work and I canceled my account. I now just put the 70 a month they were charging me in my savings in case something does happen
