Sure! Just make sure it is okay with Granny’s city to move on Sunday.
Some cities have “moving ordinances” and will fine you for:
* moving too early
* moving too late
* parking on sidewalk
* parking commercial plate vehicle on residential street
* permit for a POD, etc.

Most companies do and this time of year business is slow so they will appreciate any business the can get.
More importantly, give them plenty of notice. Hire your mover at LEAST two weeks in advance.
If you live on a street with difficult parking call your local police dept and explain your situation. Here in Cincinnati the PD will block off a space for the truck on the day we are moving a customer.
Some apartment complexes only allow moves on certain days or at certain times, especially if there is an elevator, so be sure to check with her apartment manager.
