If you are buying a new home, then almost any builder can create a media room for you…just depending on just how extreme you want to take it, and the floor plan.
If not, then a darn good home improvement company can take a basement, or a decent size room, on the main level, and make you a nice media room…again, just depending on how extreme you want to take it. I recently had major work done as a result of the flooding and used a company named Castle Painting (they do it all…not just painting). I’m not sure of his title, but the guy take seemed to manage everything was Renato 404-933-8972 and have recommend him and the company to everyone that I run into that needs work done on their houses.
Our friend, Motthedog (Mott for short?) knows what he’s talking about. Our subdivision needed work, and hired Castle Paint. Their bid was the most competitive, and they did a great job.
If you want to find a house that already has a media room why not look on realtor.com and key that in as one of your requirements. That should generate a list of viable resale properties.
A former colleague purchased a new house — I think it was the model — in East Cobb, that has a media room. The builder was Williamscraft. I don’t know anything about the quality of these homes, but looking at the place superficially, I had to say ‘wow!’ The media room had everything one could want, including a ticket window right outside.
