We’ve been researching the 55+ MH Parks on line and the majority of these communities appear fabulous. Any thoughts and comments regarding the community you live in, what we should keep in mind while researching or AZ life in general as an active 55+ adult would be great!
We would be moving from WI – a totally different culture/climate/environment – What things are common knowledge to AZ residents (weather, traffic, taxes, culture, health care, cost of living, ect) that we would need to consider?

The Islander RV Resort in Lake Havasu, AZ is just wonderful. Right on the Colorado River and also in the middle of the desert – 2 + hours from Phoenix and 2+hours from Las Vegas. Their website is www.islanderrvresort.com It is on the island – we’ve been there for three years for six months each year. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. We searched out a ton of other places from Florida including the Keys to California. We have found our second neighborhood and love it! Good Luck and have fun!
