Question : In Houston…How do movers charge?, is it by the hour , by distance or?
I’m looking for a good moving Company in Houston Texas… Funny, We are actually only moving about two blocks away, but have no one to help. How much would it cost and can you recommend a good moving company I live near Katy (77084)

The last time we moved they charged by the amount of stuff, whether it was one story or two and the distance. Most movers have a website where you can get a list of common items and mark which ones you have for a faster quote. Sorry I can’t recommend one–I never found a good one. You could try renting your own U-Haul and posting on Craigslist for helpers. It would be cheaper to pay them for their help than it would be professional movers.
