A user is using a portable CMM to measuring a tooling jig. He auto-aligns the portable CMM using 3 or more points. When he moves the probe to check the potion of some details, he is able to see real-time deviations. The user then records 50 points on target areas in order to generate a metrology inspection report. While he collects the points, he can begin creating annotations and deviation plots.
