I know people who built their own home from start to finish. They began with a trip to the libary to check out books on carpentry, blueprint reading, etc. Some community colleges have classes in these things, too. It was a challenge, but they were fantastic places when they were finished so Good Luck to you, I’d love to see pics when you are finished!
