Question : National Home Protection – Home Warranty – SCAM?
I purchased a home warranty from NHP – National Home Protection – DO NOT BUY ONE !!!! It is a SCAM! Are they any legitimate Home Warranty companies out there? I am out $ 400 !

Some home warranty companies have bad reputation, but there are some good ones out there. Aon, Old Republic, Fidelity are some of the companies that you can count on. However, make sure you read the contract terms. Pre-existing problems and repairs due to lack of appliance maintenance are NOT covered. Some home warranty companies require you to show your maintenance records if you want them to replace the unit.
