Iceland Darla Letourneau has recently been honored as “Citizen Bike Lawyer of the Year” by the Florida Association of bikes. The club holds a ceremony each year. This year, the ceremony and the Probike ProWalk Florida Conference. Letourneau was chosen because of their efforts to promote the name of cyclists and pedestrians.
Letourneau has been involved in research, design and service of the committee. It was also the driving force behind the concept of BikeWalkLee. Each year the association recognizes those who have an active role in the local community and respond to inspire and support people who are cycling for improving the range of Floridians and residents. Ultimately, Letourneau and BAF organization hopes to encourage more cycling activity, as an alternative safer and healthier for motor vehicles.
