I live on the “mainland” in Ft Walton Bch (*LOL*), but LOVE the beaches here! (And my 3 1/2 yr old triplets LOVE it here, too! *grins*)

well i live in a 3 bedroom apt and its right in destin about 2 mins from the beach, and it runs for about 1300 a month but a 2 bedroom is probably like 1100 and the apartments itself are pretty good and there are alot of employment opportunities here depending on what you do

I am a nurse and I had no problem getting a job. I lived there in 1997 and worked at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.

what’s wrong with destin? overpriced properties. definately not moderately priced. too much annoying traffic throughout the tourist months. lots of arrogant rich people. it’s a dissapointment to find out that most of the beaches are privately owned by the condos on the beach, so unless you’re a condo guest, then it’s off limits to you. i could go on and on…just let me know if you need more info. I live in Fort Walton Beach, just next door to destin.
