Hi How long should I keep my cat in after moving home. She has been here 4 6 nights and keeps asking 2 go out!
She waits and scratches the front door, while standing up trying to reach the handle. She has always been an outdoor cat but I am worried it might be to soon.
Wait about another week, or she may just want grass from outside bring a few blades in for her. Also when you do let her out. Let her out in the back yard supervised and then bring her in again for the night. Do this a couple more times throughout the week and see how she reacts. You’ll know when she’s settled and seems okay to be left out though in truth its up to you and the cat rather she’ll stay indoors or outdoors more often.
