Ahead of the Bell: Jobless claims
New unemployment claims likely dipped last week, but not by enough to signal that employers are ramping up hiring. Economists expect initial claims to drop to a seasonally adjusted 465,000 from 472,000 the previous week, according to a survey by Thomson Reuters.
