How to buy a house that is being sold through a relocation company?

Do you have to pay asking price for them to work with you or are they willing to negotiate? If they negotiate what percentage can you offer?

everything is negotiable. watch out however, these folks typically use their own paper work and it is usually foreign to locals. make sure some one with a brain reads all paperwork

You should offer what you want to offer no matter if it’s a relo company or not. They just have more paperwork to go through. Ask your realtor about how to make the offer. It should be a combination of price and terms. It’s not always about the price although you can get some awesome deals out there!

I have learned that Relo companies are very receptive to offers. If I were your agent, I would not suggest a 50% offer, but would not mind starting in the 75%+ range.

No matter who you’re buying through, it’s appropriate to offer less than the full asking price.
