Anybody know of a good, cheap, careful removal and storage company in London?
1I’m in south-east London and looking for some people to take care of my stuff when I move house. . . Thank you!
Is my man being took advantage of or am I wrong to think this?
5My mans truck broke down the other day friday it was. The truck wont crank. He works with his cousin and his brother at a job that is forty five minutes away. Now that his truck dont work he is using my car. When the truck ran he taxed his cousin and his brother to and from work, except on weekends when his cousin takes them all to work in his girlfriends vehicle. They depend on timmy to take them to work. If timmy didnt taxi them they wouldnt have a way to work. So now my man has to get the truck fixed or Im gonna be stuck like chuck at home. While he taxis them to work everyday. I feel like in a way his cousin and brother have a invested interest in his truck running and maybe should help him repair it since they depend on it to get to work. If it dont work none of them would get to work. Of course my boyfriend wont do this and is gonna use my car till his truck is fixed. What do you think? I have a new born and a four year old and will have no way to get around.

He works from eight in the morning till six in the evening. That is how much time everyday I will be without transportation myself. It might take weeks for us to afford his truck being fixed. And Im the one who is gonna suffer. Or I can ask others to help me but I dont like to burden others. Am I wrong in thinking that his cousin and brother should help alittle since they rely on him getting them there. Neither of them have thier own vehicles. And Id like to know what women compared to men think about on this. So I can see how diffrently men and women see this situation. If they see it diffrently.
How can I explain this to my man in a way that would help him to understand .
My man doesnt agree with me. He wont do anything about it he believes he should get the truck fixed on his own and he is not gonna ask them. I dont know what to do.
I’m moving from Portugal to the United States. What baggage shipping, relocation or removal services can I use?
2I’m in Lisbon, Portugal.
Which services are more reliable? I can do sea or air, just looking for good quality service that aren’t too expensive.
I won’t be moving any furniture, just an incredible amount of clothing and personal items.
I want to have options, just in case excess baggage rates at the airport are too high
Can I fit a cal-king bed in a cargo Van? (Ford E-series or Chevy Savana/Express)?

Should You Tip a Removals Man?
0This is probably something you may not consider until you have moved, all your possessions have arrived safely at their destination and the removals men are leaving.  What is the right thing to do in this situation? Should you give the men a tip and if so how much?
Most removals employees only get paid just above the minimum wage this work is considered to be a blue collar or working class job. Â If you consider other jobs in this category such as waitresses and bar staff they often need their tips to get by. Â You should not however feel obliged to tip as the removals men are simply doing their job, if you are very pleased with the service you have received you should not be afraid to give them a tip. Â I recently moved with a London removal firm they also offered London storage
London storage and the entire service I received was very professional.  In fact they managed to load up my house contents in one hour and at the other end only took one hour to unload.  At this point I was still exploring my new home and was surprised when they told me they had finished.  I tipped them £50. 00 between them this may seem like a very generous tip but there were five of them and they had provided a very reasonable packing service.  I was so pleased with the service that I recommended them to my friends and will definitely use them again should I move in the future.  Once you have used a removals firm and trust them it is easier to use them again than start looking afresh.
You can tip anything from £1. 00 to £30. 00 each, a good general rule is £10. 00 to £20. 00 between them but you must not feel obliged.  Whatever you do donât be tempted to tip them with a nice cold beer, Iâm sure after the hard work they would appreciate it but it wouldnât be very responsible of you give them alcohol knowing that they would be getting behind the wheel.  Even for the men not driving giving them a drink would be a bad idea, they could be called to help in further removals.  You wouldnât appreciate it if the men turned up smelling of drink, would you? It is a much better idea to give a tip, if you want to because the service was good.

5 Ways to Save Money on Packaging, Shipping and Industrial Safety Supplies
0Anyone who has to purchase packaging supplies knows that they can get to be expensive if not bought through a large vendor because of the overhead that you end up paying for with smaller companies. It is best to select a vendor with at least a 10,000 item product catalog, because this ensures that you are being provided with a comprehensive selection to choose from, in addition to guaranteed in-stock status on virtually all of your packaging supply needs.
When searching for your vendor, take into consideration whether or not they offer same day shipping and ask about any discounts they may have. Chances are, just by contacting them you will be able to negotiate a deal.
Remember, the economy is tough right now and people want to sell products. In most situations, there is a little room to haggle with everybody. Ultimately, it’s worth a shot; isn’t it?
There are many ways you can save money on your packaging supply costs, but here are just a few of my favorites:
1. Purchase your items in bulk and get all applicable discounts.
2. When placing an order, purchase as much as possible each time to avoid paying individual shipping fees on separate transactions.
3. Use a local vendor so that your shipping fees will not be as high.
4. Search online for the best deals prior to committing to any particular vendor.
5. Ensure that you are emphasizing customer service when choosing a vendor, because this will save you money over time and good CRM is always a plus in any business relationship, which decreases the chances of you having to spend money on technical support.
All of the above methods are highly recommended and it will improve your overall experience immensely. Having a company that will work with you hand in hand to cater to each and every one of your packaging supply needs is what counts. Customer satisfaction is the number one reason people stay with a business and it shows that brand loyalty is directly impacted by how well a company interacts with its clients.
I definitely recommend using resources like ThomasNet and other similar platforms which provide a comprehensive list of businesses from which you can review products and services, ultimately making your selection. Many of the companies that you will find on such a directory are established, credible businesses with a large customer base. This will save you money because you will be identifying the best companies suited to provide your industrial supply needs, helping to increase operational efficiency and improving your bottom line.
Having the right resources in place at the right time enables a business owner to streamline their processes and focus on other areas, such as marketing and sales.
Do you currently pull your packaging and shipping supply resources from multiple areas? If so, you should seriously look into researching companies and finding one which provides the majority of your needs from one single location. This will save your business a lot of money in the long run.
Happy hunting!
