Roland JD-800 Synthesizer
vintage synth demo by RetroSound Some typical sounds from the Roland JD-800 Synthesizer. For me is the JD-800 one of the best Digital-Synthesizers ever made. Great digital pads and warm strings are the best sounds from the JD. Sorry for the bad sound quality of my little cam. This one of my first synth vids on YouTube. Direct from the beginning. View my many other JD-800 vids with much better sound quality on YouTube! more info: www. retrosound. de and http

Just bought one. They are still being used today live by, such artists as, JM Jarre, Gary Numan, and, Mike oldfield. A beautiful classic synth, that is, going to shoot up in price in years to come. They weigh a ton, and are practically armoured plated. So easy to programme great patches, unlike many synths of today. A true classic as the D50. Thanks for posting. LOL .

I have no plug-in cards, so am restricted to what I thought was pitifully few default sounds (though these can be adjusted). Then I discovered that by using a seperate MIDI controller I could access more sounds (!)
I really like it any, even with the hum I can’t get rid of when recording, even plugged into a seperate mains ring.
The below title, when pasted into the Youtube bar, throws up something I did with my own Roland:
Chiptune: Commodore 64, Hammond B4, Roland JD-800; “Cooty”

I play drums, I am too picky about music to join your usual rock band so I am trying to find someone who operates a synthesizer. The person operating this one had some nice sound waves flowing at some moments if you think you might want to try adding an acoustic drummer in contact me on my youtube account. It would be cool to create a fusion of electronic and acoustic with ambient new age fusion in mind something kind of like the music played on donkey kong video games from super nintendo.
