This is actually pretty similar to what I do, except I use Evernote for it instead of a notebook. Lots of lists and a weekly review! Kudos!

Nickel uses Evernote too, Trent. I’m more of a pen-and-paper guy for this sort of thing. But I’m mainly a “not do it at all” guy. Maybe I should try Erica’s method.

Do you re-write the weekly goals every day? Are they for the coming week, or for the calendar week? In other words, if it’s Wednesday, are your weekly goals things you want to accomplish by next Wednesday, or things you want to accomplish by midnight on Saturday?

Hi kgazette,

I write the weekly goals once a week–typically on the Saturday or Sunday prior. (Worst case, Monday morning.) They are things I want to accomplish before the week ends–I consider my week to end 11:59PM Sunday night.

hey erica! love love love this video. you’re super cute & easy to listen too. questions – what size notebook is this is it a 1,3, or 5-subject notebook? so at the front of the notebook, are all your monthly lists? for example, the first page is jan’s list? and 2nd page is feb’s list? or did you put feb’s list after all your jan stuff? last but not least, where did you put the “done by end of week” list at? on the same page as the first day of the week or? thx again. huge fan of your website too!

Hi Diana,

The notebook is smaller than a full 8.5×11 notebook. It’s 5×7.

My monthly lists are at the front, yes.

My weekly lists go throughout the whole notebook. So I’ll have a page with a weekly list, then a page with a daily list, etc.

I use Google Calendar for my calendar. It syncs to my phone.
